  • IMPORTANT STUDENT ATHLETIC INFORMATION
Planet High School (PHS) is the website that Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) has partnered with to facilitate essential athletic forms. All athletic forms can be found, signed, uploaded as well as stored within PHS.  PHS also collects and stores all important medical information pertaining to athletes, as well as where their emergency contact information is located. This is a CHSAA rule and if you do not have a PHS account properly filled out then you will not be eligible to participate in high school sports.

With sports beginning soon, it is very important that all students sign in to their PHS account to make sure that the account is still active. I have noticed that a few high school athletes are missing from the school list. All incoming freshmen must sign up for an account and then invite their parents to join. The student, as well as a parent, must have their own separate account. To make the process easier the student account should be established first and then the student should send an invite to the parent or guardian to join.

Please go to www.planeths.com to set up your account.

Here is a link to a video that will help you get started setting up your PHS account as well as linking the student account with the parent account bigteams.force.com/support/s/article/PHS-Parent-Student-Getting-Started.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kyle Dinsmore - Athletic Director at kyle.dinsmore@norwoodk12.org or call (970)-729-9114

  • Pandemic-EBT

Does your child receive free or reduced-price school meals during the school year, or do you believe you may now qualify based on a recent income change? Pandemic-EBT, or P-EBT, can help you feed your family while schools are closed. You will receive a card with approximately $279 per eligible child that you can use to purchase food at stores that accept EBT. If you already receive SNAP benefits and are eligible for P-EBT, these funds will automatically load into your existing account. If you do not currently receive SNAP benefits, apply here for P-EBT today: https://www.colorado.gov/cdhs/p-ebt.   The application will open in late July and stay open for a few weeks. Please call Sue Williams at 970-327-4336 ext. 214 with any questions or to obtain a student ID.

  • Safe2Tell App and School Safety

One of the best ways to keep our school safe is to report concerning behavior. Talk to your kids and encourage them to download the free Safe2Tell app on their phones to report behavior by others that is concerning to them. They remain anonymous and they just might save a life. The information about the app can be found at https://safe2tell.org/safe2tell-colorado-mobile-app
