About People of Norwood
In 2016 Norwood Public School received a grant from the Telluride Foundation to conduct a program to help foster unity in the school population and within the community of Norwood. This program is to be carried out through a cooperative effort among the videography/technology, English/language arts, art/shop, and drama departments at the school.
In phase 1 of the program students in 8 grade English and the high school videography class will be conducting video interviews of students asking a range of questions from student background, career goals and experiences fitting in to Norwood school to topics such as racism, political differences, and bullying at the school and in the community.
Some of those interviews will be featured here on our People of Norwood videos page as well as on segments of the weekly Mavs News.
