Mrs. Teri Williams, BSN,RN,CNOR
I graduated from the University of Colorado, School of Nursing while my husband was serving on active duty in the Army. I was able to gain a great deal of nursing experience while traveling to the next duty assignment and having the opportunity to learn a great deal from each hospital I worked at. My favorite was working as a Neurosurgery nurse in New York City at the New York School of Medicine, and the Westchester Medical Center in Vallhalla, New York. Rick Williams (my husband) your school counselor, was stationed at WestPoint, New York and we subsequently moved to Alabama and then Landstuhl, Germany, another favorite assignment of mine. We have two children, our son Chris is a Marine F-35 pilot and our daughter Elizabeth is a Russian and Criminology major at the University of Denver on a Air Force ROTC scholarship. She would like to work as a Foreign Area Officer/Intell abroad in Europe. The bulk of my nursing career has been in the operating room in several different sub-specialty areas. Most recently I taught at the LPN school in Delta and currently work at the newly formed Crisis Stabilization Unit, The Center for Mental Health in Montrose. I am honored to serve as your district school nurse. I feel that the whole person is connected through body, mind and spirit and how they interplay with one another and how this relationship works to determine a person's state of health or disease. I work Monday through Thursday and I am available 8a - 4p in the building or you can always email or phone and I will return your questions promptly. I look forward to a propsperous, healthy and happy school year.
