School Opening Information
The administrative team held a Town Hall webinar on Tuesday, August 4th at 7pm to go over public questions regarding the reopening plan. Click HERE to see the video of the meeting. (Note: we started the recording early so the meeting starts at the 9:20 mark).

Draft 2 of the Norwood Public Schools Reopening Plan is now available for public review.
The start date for students to return to school has been changed to Monday, August 24th. All other calendar dates and activities pertaining to reopening are to be determined at this time. An updated district calendar will be posted soon.
We will also have a Norwood online learning program available through a third-party provider for families who prefer for their student to learn from home. See the reopening plan for details.
Please note that the reopening plan is subject to change based on local and state guidance as well as staff and stakeholder feedback.
Reopening at a Glance
*Masks are also required for preschool students age 3 and up per current state requirements and masks for grades 5-12 will not be required outside if social distancing can be observed or in individual spaces if alone.
**Self checks are encouraged prior to your child leaving home. In the event a child has a 100.4 degree temperature, presents with a cough or difficulty breathing they should stay home (or will be sent home).

****Only essential visitors will be allowed inside campus buildings. Visitors who need to drop something off are encouraged to do so at the front door.
