About Norwood School District

The Norwood Public School District is located in a small ranching community in Southwestern Colorado. Norwood is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains, valleys and deep canyons. Amid this beauty is an abundance of wildlife, camping, hiking, fishing, mountain biking and many winter sports.

The Norwood District was founded in the early 1900’s growing to its present size of 300 students. The district is a K-12 facility with a staff focused on preparing students for the future. Many opportunities are at the student’s disposal to aid them in achieving their academic, athletic, and social development.
