Brandon Boss
7th-12th Grade Social Studies Teacher.
Brandon Boss is a native of the area. He graduated high school from Nucla, CO, back in 1999 and did attend his 8th grade year here in Norwood. After high school, he attended Western State College on an athletic scholarship. After a couple years, he transferred to Grand Junction, CO, and finished his undergraduate political science degree at Mesa State College. He has lived there ever since.
After college (2006), he started working for Reynolds Polymer Technology, a manufacturing company that produces acrylic glass for exhibitory all over the world. He worked on projects that took him from Cleveland, Ohio, to Casablanca, Morocco. In 2012, he started working in the oilfield, first as a crane salesman and then as a drilling fluids engineer. That work was mainly focused regionally in Colorado/Utah/New Mexico/& Texas. In 2020, he started working independently, developing machinery and metal parts for various applications.
Brandon is married and has three children. His oldest two attend high school at Grand Junction High School as juniors, and his youngest will be starting kindergarten here in Norwood. In 2022, his wife and him purchased property up near Gurley Reservoir, and they are currently working to build a home on the property.
For fun, Brandon enjoys working out, dirt biking, watersports/boating, and in the winter, snowboarding.
Brandon is excited and grateful to start his teaching career back in the area he grew up!
