NORWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT
JOB OPENINGS
Come and join our team! The Norwood Public School District is located in Norwood, CO providing public education to under 200 students, PreK-12, from the West End of San Miguel and Montrose County. Norwood is located in the heart of ranching country surrounded by mountainous landscapes with the Lone Cone and San Juan Mountain ranges to the South/East and the LaSal mountains of Utah standing in the West. We are approximately 45 minutes away from the Telluride Ski Resort, 1 hour from Ouray (known as the "Switzerland of America") and 2 hours from Moab, UT. While amenities such as fast food and retail or grocery shopping chains are not immediately accessible and will prove to be a long excursion, our locally owned small businesses provide the necessities and the area as a whole provides locals and tourists with some of the most scenic areas in Southwest Colorado and an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities!
The Norwood School District owns a new home, which can offer affordable housing for a limited time to new staff coming on board. This allows for the staff (and family) to adjust to the area and find a more permanent and suitable location to settle into.
