Mrs. Sara Rasmussen

I was born and raised in Nucla and had the opportunity to come back to the area after graduating college to raise my two boys with my husband, Perry. Both my boys, Kyle and Weston, graduated from Norwood and have been very successful in pursuing careers they both love. I moved back right after college graduation for my first teaching job as a 4th grade teacher. I taught in that position for 5 years. I then became a business owner for the next 4 years and realized that teaching was my true calling. I became the 1st grade teacher at Norwood schools for the next 13 years. After becoming interested in administration, I went back to school to get my masters and was the acting administrator for 8 years before going back into the classroom for another year as the 4th and 5th grade ELA teacher.  I am  currently back in administration as the Elementary Principal.I absolutely love working at Norwood Schools and being a part of all the amazing kids and staff I interact with. I want our school to be a place where kids, teachers and the community want to be a part of
